news 05/15/2010 Article On TheCabin Conway News Paper
Annodal’s Vegetarian Cafe and Juice Bar opened last week, and it has a wide variety of all-vegetarian dishes. Owner Annodal is a self-taught artist and a bit of a traveler. She has lived in a few areas with greater selections of vegetarian restaurants, and it seems she has become quite the cook. She hopes to offer fresh, healthy fare to the busy folk of Conway.
lk of Conway.
The menu is extensive, but here are a few examples. For breakfast – whole grain or cinnamon-raisin pancakes and veggie bacon or sausage. Or a fruit smoothie. For lunch – salads with homemade dressing (mango-coconut or strawberry vinaigrette) and soy chicken. Or, a veggie burger. Of course, she makes hummus and salsa and quesadillas. And Indian food.
She has gotten a great reception in her first few days of being in business. At this time, she is on a cash-only basis, so please be aware of that when you stop by to visit her. Her hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Review: "basically, it rocks in conway" If you're vegan or vegetarian in Conway, worry no more about finding places to eat. This veg cafe is a gem. It has a cozy atmosphere and literally a whole wall full of choices. Annodal will cook you up a spicy Indian curry, portabella sandwich or even a good ol' veggie burger. To drink, try out the delicious fresh juice bar, or enjoy a fruit smoothie or tea. The homemade cardamom cookies are vegan and so delicious. She always offers homemade vegan cheese, made with nutritional yeast. The food is tasty and not overpriced. Check out Annodal's—if you're lucky, you might even get your meal served on a cow plate.
Pros: sweet, friendly, fair * many tasty options * great juice bar
